いつもにも増して足早に帰宅。いつものようにドアが開き、パパに抱っこされたメグちゃんが迎えてくれました。「メグちゃん、おかえり。」と、初めてそう声をかけ、とても大きなハグをしました。

今日は、デイケアの初日。両親共々、随分落ち着きがない一日を過ごしましたが、メグは、泣くこともなく、とてもリラックスして、他の子供たちと楽しそうに遊んでいたそうです。よく食べ、お昼寝もちゃんとできました。きっと、メグにとっては、大冒険のような日だったんじゃないかなあ。メグちゃんのことをとても誇りに思うよ。

The door opened and Meg held by her dad popped up as usual as I walked to home. “Welcome back,  Meg!” for the first time I said so to Meg and gave her a huge hug.

It was the first day for a day care. Her parents could not feel at ease all day long, but Meg seemingly chilled out and enjoyed playing with other kids. She ate and slept well. It must be a big adventure like day for her. We are so proud of you, Meg!
