Lyn it’s just your second week in our room and it doesn’t feel like you are one of the new kids in here. It feels you are so familiar with the room and the routines. You have settled in so well in our toddlers room.  You have been exploring your new environment quite well. I have noticed you take interest in cooking while you are in the sandpit particularly the baking side of it. You love using the sprinkles for your baking before putting it away in the oven. You are very careful not to touch the oven as it might be hot. You kept saying “hot” while keeping an eye on the oven so that your cake doesn’t get burnt. Wow! You are so clever Lyn.

We have also noticed you love this song and have a special place for this song “poi’e”. You simply enjoy dancing to this song as soon as you hear the song. You will quickly get the poi from the music corner then start dancing to the rhythm and singing at the same time.  Some of the dispositions we have already noticed in your play such as being curious, actively participate, being playfulness and taking interests in the activities that you love to do.

We will continue to scaffold and guide you more as we go along and plan all the activities according to your interest.
