Lyn over the past couple of months I have been watching with interest a new friendship form between yourself and Nara. This friendship that has formed between the two of you has resulted due the shared interests the two of you have. This in turn has meant the two of you have been spotted playing together in many different areas. The most common spot however, being the family corner where you currently enjoy playing doctors.
Very recently I spotted the two of you outside working together to push a tyre from one end of the playground to the other. As I watched the two of you I was impressed with the way you were both working co-cooperatively together and communicating with each other on the way in which you should negotiate the tyre around obstacles you came across along the way. There was a few times along the way the tyre would fall over and you had to work together to make it stand up right again so you could continue on your way. This once again requried co-operation and problem solving after a little bit of trial and error you both seemed to manage to achieve what you had set out to achieve. Lyn it is great to see you developing friendships with other children. It is through this friendship forming that you learn about important social skills such as co-operation, negotiation and turn taking. I look forward to seeing the sort of adventures the two of you will get up to in the near future. I wonder what other ways the two of you will demonstrate the traits of co-operation and problem solving when you play together.
