Meg spent an hour at day-care today without her Mum and Dad. She did so well, but it was great to see her when I picked her up.

今日、メグは、デイケアにて一時間、ママもパパも一緒ではなく一人で過ごしました。とてもよくできました。迎えに行って抱っこしたとき、なんともいえない気持ちになりました。

これは、メグをデイケアに連れて行った３日目のことでした。初日は、パパが、二日目は、ママが一緒でした。そして、今日、初めて一人で過ごしました。メールにて以下の会話。

パパ: Megchan wa deikea ima 🙁
ママ: daijobu? 大丈夫だといいけど 🙂
パパ: Daijabu. watashi daijabu arimasen:-( …
パパ: 問題なくうまくいったよ。メグは、一人であちこち動きながら楽しく遊んでいたみたい。
…
ママ: 私からも大きなハグをしてあげて。
パパ: したよ。

そういえば、初めてデイケアに見学に行った後も。

パパ: まだじゃないかなあ。
ママ: メグ、まだ無理ってこと？
パパ: 自分が、まだ無理かも。

メグ、今日で１４ヶ月です。メグちゃん、大きくなったね！

It was actually the third day of the day care transition for Meg. The first day was with her dad, and the second day was with her mum. Yet, she was by herself there for the first time today. The below is our conversation on email.

Dad: Meg is now in day care 🙁
Mum: Are you guys all right? Hope so 🙂
Dad: All good. I’m not all right.:-( …
Dad: Went well no problems she was happy playing by herself and exploring.
Mum: Please give her a big hug from me! Dad: Hug given.

Come to think of it, after the first visit of the day care.

Dad: Not ready.
Mum: Do you think Meg is not ready?
Dad: I’m not ready.

Meg is 14 months old today. We are proud of you, Meg!
