Lyn you are such a helpful friend to have in the room. You are always willing to lend the teachers a hand when we need help with something. You are also always there supporting your friends with tasks when you see that they are having a little bit of difficulty. You have the ability to read a situation and are very much capable to using your initiative and step in to help if you see that help is required. When you do assist you do it with great enthusiasm and energy which is very much appreciated.
Recently you helped Fareen to sort out the children’s artwork and put it away in their lockers. This experience not only demonstrated your ability to take responsibility but it also encouraged early literacy as you had to locate the correct locker to put the artwork in by ‘reading’ the names on the locker. Lyn it was so nice to see that you were also willing to help out other children who were having a little bit of difficulty finding the correct locker. Thank you Lyn for your help.
I look forward to seeing other ways in which you display the dispostion of taking responsibility in the near future. I wonder what sort of experiences the teachers can provide for you to also help support and encourage this trait to develop even further?
